Who We Are
Atkinson Consulting is based in Durango, Colorado, playground of skiers, mountain bikers, and coffee enthusiasts. We specialize in working with boards, non-profits, and small to mid-sized companies, pulling from the disciplines of research, strategy, and leadership to help organizations seeking positive change.
With over 25 years of experience in market and survey research, Angela specializes in designing research programs customized to meet the client's needs and budget. Having served on City Council, chaired boards, and led community organizations, Angela has firsthand personal experience with the rewards and challenges of leadership and organizational management.
Raised in the south, Angela has an appreciation for quirky humor, biscuits and gravy, and bluegrass music. Calling the Rockies her home since she was 18, she seeks adventure in all its forms...inner as well as outer. This drive to explore has sent Angela to the jungles of Laos, glaciers of Baffin Island, and the halls of Berkeley. Tom Mann
Tom has a passion for bringing more creativity and leadership to the world of organizations. Tom previously founded, owned and led two ad agencies, Erdeljon, Mann and Associates and Adventures, Inc. He has held a variety of positions in the ad/marketing world: account executive, copywriter, designer, art director and creative director. At Adventures, he grew the agency to 17 employees and $9 million in billings. He is a founding member of Leaders for Peace, an organization that enables Palestinians and Israelis to attend a 10-month leadership training in the US, and a graduate of CTI’S Leadership Program. He holds a BA in Journalism (Advertising emphasis) and an MBA, both from Penn State. A native of Philadelphia, he still pines for the perfect cheese steak and religiously follows the Phillies. He’s a runner, snow boarder, mountain biker, and possesses a unique wrist-snap Frisbee toss.

Marianna Leuschel, Creative Director, has 25 years of practice in land use, conservation and building sciences that has given her valuable insights into the latest thinking in planning, architecture, real estate market cycles, and sustainable development.
Marianna’s strength is in helping her clients translate their vision into pragmatic solutions. We have collaborated with Marianna on several projects and simply put, she is a joy to work with. She brings consensus-building skills, creativity as a communicator, and humor and playfulness to projects resulting in a great product and process for the entire team.
RRC Associates is a multi-disciplinary consulting firm providing market research, strategic analysis, and community/land planning services. Chris Cares and Nolan Rosall, founders of the firm, both have extensive backgrounds in the planning and research fields. Nolan, with a Masters degree in City and Regional Planning from Cornell University, is a visionary in the research and planning worlds, combining the disciplines of land use planning, market research, and economic development into holistic and comprehensive solutions for clients.
Chris specializes in practical applications of quantitative and qualitative research including surveys, modeling, focus group facilitation, and public outreach for problem solving in a variety of industries and settings. Chris is a masterful communicator and is gifted in bringing people together. Chris has an undergraduate degree from the University of Rochester and a Masters degree from Harvard University.
T3 Leadership is a leadership and connection company working with businesses, individuals, and youth to strengthen leadership skills.
